Mixtape Fall 2008

Greetings to all my returning UCHH heads and to any new heads from this year. As many of you know, last year's mixtape turned out to be a big hit with some quality contributions from our UCHH staff. This year, we're hoping to make the mixtape even better. The best way to do that, though, is to start out early. The forum is a great way to keep in touch with people so we can all share ideas, so if you have something to say, toss a line right here!

Leave any comments, suggestions and ideas for the mixtape here. We can discuss track concepts, beats, etc. Hopefully this will help get us a bit more organized...

Man, hanging out around at uchiphop.com makes me feel like Will Smith in I Am Legend. Does the UC Hiphop Congress still exsist? Where is everyone? Graduated, or something? Come on. It be nice to have some sort of community at U of I. I'll be there this coming fall, so will a lot of new freshmen and transfers, and it would be nice to have some sort of community to be a part of on arrival. Or at least some networking on these forums. Fuckit. I'm going to post here once a week, whether anyone does or not. Get this thing active again.

Hey, it never happened last year, so we need to make it even bigger this year. So here it goes: Calling all Emcees, Producers, DJs, Beatboxers, and otherwise musically inclined people. We need a game plan for how to hook up different callabs so we can really build. Reply if you are interested and we can get some ideas kicking around.
